Breath Work Training for School Teachers

Inspire, educate and empower your students to manage their own mental health.

Within this course, your teachers will learn the physiological benefits of breath work and learn simple exercises to embed into their own lives and within the classroom.

Your teachers will:

  • Learn the basic principles of the Autonomic Nervous System and the difference between the parasympathetic nervous system and the sympathetic nervous system.
  • Have a clear understanding of why our breath and simple movements can be used as a way to manage our stress response.
  • Be lead through a guided mindfulness practice in preparation for the breath work.
  • Practice different breathing exercises that they can use themselves as well as within the classroom.
  • Learn how to embed mindfulness meditation into the school day.

**Option to combine this workshop with a physical yoga practice as well**

1 hour workshop (excluding the yoga practice) – £120

Breath Work Training for Teenagers

Inspire, educate and empower your students to manage their own mental health.

Within this course, your students will learn the physiological benefits of breath work and learn breathing exercises to help manage with the stresses and obstacles that they are faced with at school, at home and beyond.

**Please note that this is a basic overview and the course will be differentiated and pitched at the correct level for your children**

Your students will:

  • Learn the basic principles of the Autonomic Nervous System and the difference between the parasympathetic nervous system and the sympathetic nervous system.
  • Recognise the different stressors that they have in their lives and what impact this can have on their body physiologically.
  • Have a clear understanding of why our breath and simple movements can be used as a way to manage our stress response.
  • Be lead through a mindful yoga practice in preparation for the breathing exercises.
  • Learn different breathing exercises that they can use to invigorate their body to create energy.
  • Learn different breathing exercises that they can use to calm their body and their mind.

  • Learn the basic principles of the Nervous System and the difference between the ‘Rest and Digest’ division of the nervous system and the ‘Fight of flight’ division of nervous system.
  • Have a clear understanding of why our breath and simple movements can be used as a way to manage our stress response.
  • Be lead through a mindful yoga practice in preparation for learning different breathing exercises.
  • Practice different breathing exercises that they can use to invigorate their body to create energy.
  • Learn different breathing exercises that they can use to calm their body and their mind.
